The Importance of Believing in God

In my opinion, there is nothing more important than the belief in God.  This belief removes the underlying stress of the idea of mortality and always provides a source of unconditional love.  It enables people to believe that life supports them, that love binds them, that life is eternal. 

It is hard to believe in a nebulous concept of an omnipotent being so I will share my concept of God.  Each person can personalize their own concept in a way that suits their personality best.  There is an underlying vibration, backround energy that supports all life within this universe, and that energy feels like unconditional love.  A state of bliss if one were basking in it.  This energy is the love of God which is always there for us, no matter where our free choices take us.  Imagine an eternal being who imagined a reality like this physical universe.  He created new life in a manner similar to us having children here on Earth.  He loves everything within his creation because he loves life and existence itself.  His love permeates the physical universe and connects all of us at the soul level.

If we lost all memory and had no beliefs, we may be in alignment with our souls which resonate with this background energy we experience as love, joy, bliss.  Our beliefs and thoughts keep us from experiencing this energy as fully as we could.  They act as blocks to the free flow of the energy of creation through our bodies and ourselves.  Our natural inclination is to align with this energy and our pain is an indication of how out of alignment we are.  We are like children who left home, the comfort of the unconditional love of a parent, determined to experience life as individuals and discover who we are.  All of are resulting experiences produced thoughts and beliefs that took us out of alignment of that nurturing love.  Similar to teenagers who leave home here on Earth, determined to make it on their own no matter what.  They don’t want to return home, they want to become their own successful person, be their own creator in their own right.  The parents look on in support and love, but have to be ok with them falling and getting hurt now and then because they learn from the experience.  They keep learning until one day they are like their parents.

Our mindful path is the key to leading us back to the right way of thinking to be creators ourselves, capable of unconditional love.  It will enable us to realign with that energy, remember our origins, connect with the source of life here and perhaps one day, become a creator of our own reality, one much larger than our own personal experience.

The belief in God enables us to feel connected to each other, helps us recognize that all life is supported by a loving energy.  We can relax in the knowledge that death is a transition to a different perception, that life is eternal, that the universe is bound by love.  That we have the equivalent of nurturing, loving support from the idea of God.  This idea removes a lot of underlying stress from the mind.  We are not these bodies, we exist beyond them, our conscious minds and souls continuing on from life to life (body to body).  If one reaches such a state of dispair that they no longer want to live, they can lose the body and return to bask in the nurturing energy of God, love before they incarnate into a body again.  This is a belief you can choose to have or not have, but there is no downside to having it.  Without it, there is mortality and dispair.  With it, there is a sense of confidence in the benevolent nature of life.  That the worse thing that can happen to you is a trip back to heaven before you leave home to try again.

The Importance of Not Identifying With the Body

The body is a living organism we are intimately interacting with in order to sense our environment.  It is a way to perceive this reality and communicate/interact with others with others.  It is also very receptive to energy.  Our thoughts are expressed as emotions so that we can feel and see through expressions of our conscious selves.  Our souls/spirit is always aligned with joy and love.  Our thoughts and beliefs enable us to alter this experience of love and joy through both conscious and subconscious acceptance of thoughts.  These thoughts coalesce into beliefs and concepts which define our perception of our reality.  This perception defines our experience which is expressed through the body in this reality.

If we are expressing negative emotion, we are thinking negative thoughts about our experience.  We can alter our perception for a more positive experience if we step away from our thoughts and just observe them.  Ask why you think each one and adjust accordingly.

Our bodies are directly effected by our emotions which are expressions of our thoughts and beliefs.  If the body feels unwell then there is a thought that is part of a belief producing an emotion that is negatively effecting the body.  This is the visible expression of your thoughts, not yourself.  Your conscious self is the cumulation of all thoughts and beliefs which become visible when interacting with something, but you, as a being also incorporate a soul.  The soul is that part of you that is connected to the same energy as every living thing in the universe.  This could be said to be the energy of God, Love, Zero point energy field, instant communiction.

The you that is eternal is the soul and mind.  The body is for perceiving whichever reality it is adapted to.  Identifying as the body impresses you with the belief you are mortal, imperfect and subject to suffering.  You are the caretaker of the body as a living expression of the same energy as your soul.  It responds to your love.  Separate thoughts of yourself from thoughts of your body and you can establish a loving relationship without having to identify as it.

When you come face to face with another body, recognize the being inside (mind and soul) as that of your brother having the same soul energy.  The bodies are gifts to be used to communicate, perceive, interact and explore this reality.  When the body dies, you continue on, but your experience on this Earth, in this very dense reality filled with amazing people, colors, expressions of life comes to an end.  The only way to perceive it then is by looking through the consciousness of one who is still in a human body.

Mindfulness and New Age Thinking

Mindfulness is a concept which proposes that to be in alignment with yourself, you need to train your mind.  You need to be a viligant observer of your thoughts.  You need to be aware of your emotions, what you are currently feeling in the moment and aware of which thoughts are producing those emotions.  This is the way towards inner peace, the elimination of conflict within the mind.

New Age concepts seem to be centered around the idea that everyone is the embodiment of love and to express it is the key to alignment.  This may work in the long run, but it seems to be a much more arduous path to take.  Mindfulness leads to awareness whereas New Age ideas emphasize action without being aware of why it may work.

Meditation is a New Age activity which is the action of emptying the mind and filling oneself with an overall sense of peace and well being.  If you can match that feeling when not meditating, then it may be a solution, otherwise people just snap back to their ordinary non-peaceful state.  Mindfulness trains you to be watchful of yourself so that you understand why you are not in a peaceful state.

Also, filling yourself with a feeling of well-being  by chasing away whatever non-peaceful emotion you may have been feeling removes the potential of discovering the underlying cause of the emotion.  It may be a pattern of interaction you are stuck in and so the emotions will keep returning until you understand the interaction.  Otherwise, you are just covering it up or avoiding the issue.

Mindfulness is a path that leads to permanent solutions to mental and emotional conflict.  Understanding yourself means understanding your neighbors and makes off more peaceful interactions for everyone.

What connection do all of these share?  This will emphasize the importance of getting to know your own mind and body (emotions).

Channelling presents direct evidence of communication with a different level of reality that is not visible to us.  There are intelligent brings, human consciousnesses who can communicate with us via our minds.  The better one knows their own mind, the more accurate the channelled information is.  The communication happens via impressions sent which are interpreted by the channeller’s mind.  The impressions are in the form of a feeling sense of something containing possibly some imagery and emotion.  If you are not aware of your own impressions, you could confuse your impressions with those received from a non- physical consciousness communicating via channelling.  Your interpretation of the impressions is determined by your beliefs.  So the same impression sent to different people could be translated differently by each one.  The more one is aware of their own thoughts and impressions, the more one can accurately receive impressions from an outside entity.

Spirit removal is a rare occupation filled by people trained to detect and remove some of these non-physical consciousnesses who are bothering people.  This can be an unwelcome channelling entity, an entity who is sending impressions of negative emotion and/or negative thoughts.  Dome entities can be felt physically as a slight force applied to the body.  Most of the problems come from being plagued by tormented thoughts.  The impact of interaction with a negative consciousness can be alleviated by knowing ones own mind – being familiar with your own thoughts, impressions and resulting emotions.  Your own thoughts should resonate within your body because they resonate with your beliefs.  If a thought produces a negative body response, then it is possibly being introduced by a negative entity or is your own which you haven’t yet dismissed.  If it persists and seems out of your control, a negative entity may be involved.  This is when a spirit removal expert is benefial.  You can train yourself to be aware of your own thoughts and ignore the persistent negative ones.  This can discourage the negative entity from interfering. Inexplicable waves of emotion can also be caused by the interaction with a non-physical entity.  The conclusion here us that we are not alone one Earth, we live in a physicality that has many levels of existence, including less dense ones.  This dense reality is perceived through or bodies.  When we die and leave our bodies, we perceive differently because we no longer have the mechanism to interact with and perceive this dense reality.  So the non-physical beings interacting with us are currently not incarnated in a human body.

Religion has been around as long as humans have existed.  The persistent theme is good vs evil and the human trying to adhere to strict standards of goodness.  Within much of the Christian religious texts are encouragements to get to know thyself.  In this way, a person can withstand evil which originates in the mind with a negative thought.  If you keep thinking a negative thought that resonates in your body with a negative emotion, you acclimate yourself to feeling bad.  This becomes your comfort zone.  Any feelings outside of this zone are rejected.  You need the use if your conscious mind and self-discipline to overcome this slip into temptation.  Religion references channelling and non-physical entities (dead people for instance).  A negative entity is known as a demon and can influence your weaknesses (temptation) so that you are more likely to give in.  They can also give you impressions similare to your own, but slightly different so that you are influenced to behave in a way you otherwise wouldn’t or to change a belief you otherwise wouldn’t.

I’d like to address more of these ideas in future entries.  All of these ideas rely on mindfulness, or an awareness of one’s own mind and self discipline to become aligned with your true self regardless of outside influence.  This includes influence from peers in society as well.
